Krinn, son of Krom

CHARACTER: Krinn, son of Krom   SEX: Male   Race: orc   Class: barbarian/chief   Age: 50 (deceased)   Krinn, son of Krom and father of Kross, was crowned as the chief of The Lost Tribe (Kahn Kk'rup) in 3296 AW. Like those before him, he believed that the races of men, elves and dwarves were beneath him and should remain enemies. After barely a year as chief, Krinn was leading a war party in the LaVey desert against a group of men and was badly wounded and left for dead. A human woman, named Marian, found him and took pity. She nursed him back to health.   Krinn saw the flaws in his previous views, as he soon found himself in love with Marian. With a new outlook and new strength, Krinn returned to his tribe and was praised for brushing off death. Krinn told the tribe of the error in his previous stance, and announced his new wife, Marian. Surprisingly, most of the tribe was happy for him, though there were some who believed Krinn had grown soft. Soon, Marian was with child.   Kross, the son of the chief, was only half-orc and this caused those who opposed Krinn's views more angry; that a half-breed might one day become chief. When Krinn's son was only three years old, a new challenger to the crown spoke up. The largest orc in the tribe, Vorr, claimed that Krinn was no longer fit to lead, and challenged Krinn to mortal combat. Krinn had to accept, though Krinn was also the more seasoned fighter. Never the less, Vorr won the fight, eviscerating Krinn. Immediately, Marian and Kross were driven from the camp and Krinn's legacy was no more.
