Mako Borellus is not one you want to anger. Born in Honeywell Glen, Mako was a troubled child who was born with powerful abilities to manipulate through psychic magic. He seemed cruel from a young age, often hurting other children who didn’t do what he wanted. At age 12, his parents sent him to the Sortilege Academy in Ambrovia, hoping he would learn some discipline. Mako's powers increased but so did his ability to make his mentors believe he had been reformed.
By the time he was 17, he was bored of school and moved to Vreidston. His powers were noticed by military authorities he believed his skills could be well utilized. Aside from basic training in fighting and combat, he was encouraged to use his powers for interrogation.
Mako was part of the battalion to battle the red dragon at Black Lake. He became friends with the other members of the Black Lake Six. He received some scars as well, but not severely damaged. He immediately became friends with Szandor Hornraven III. After returning home, he went back to conducting interrogations for the military, but investigations found his practices to be highly unethical and he was arrested. He was not in prison for long before escaping, and is currently a fugitive.
