Balthor

Balthor is the traditional 'chief' god of the pantheon, and is the divine representation of the force of balance. It is by his will than the gambler's luck eventually runs out, that the poor man eventually recieves good fortune, and that mortals naturally cannot reach immortality. His traditional depiction in the isles is as a ash skinned old human balancing a black stone on each palm. In the aftermath of the avatar crisis, he is even more revered for helping bring the chaos of the Crinoan civil war to an end. King Olgire claims divine right from Balthor, and the Speaker's Autocracy on Amstral also encourages a moderate state cult of Balthor.
