Gothican Human

With the weakening of interplanar barriers in the aftermath of the 'Battle of the Coronation', a number of Gothicans, mostly knights at first, but then wealthy merchants who could afford the fees (bribes), gated over to leave their world of Night Terrors. Those who emerge in the modern world find a place both bizzarely at peace and full of elements beyond understanding. Where are the castles? Why don't most people live underground? Why are the Kobolds the only ones who seem to act sensibly? Why does the sun shine for more than four hours a day? Naive but capabable, these ghostly pale humans seek to understand and master their new world.
