Mafren

The mailed fist of empire, Mafren was the deity of the Elvish quest for dominance, manifest destiny, and the divine right to rule. Typically depicted in the guise of one of the more prestigious Crinoan Emperors, the deity's according to canon favors the combination of honorable cunning and brutal strength to gain glory and power. In the aftermath of the avatar crisis, faith in Mafren has waned to the point of the religion almost ceasing to exist outside of Ishven and the far Crinoan North. Some Northern Elves still revere him, but the fallen avatar Zelavia draws as much reverence, though prayers to her go equally unanswered.
