Old Mayson

Owner of The Den

Loud as he is fat, the popular owner of The Den is perhaps the most respected member of Putayal.
Mayson moved to Putayal with is parents when he was an infant. His father and mother had escaped the poverty-stricken streets of the City of Andilain, hoping to build a better life in the wilderness. Word had circulated that a small settlement of artisans had found the perfect location to support their trade and Mayson's father sought to bring his culinary passions to a better part of the world.
...a place where he could raise his son.

A Good LIfe

Putayal, also known as 'Woodcutter Cove' was both industrious and wealthy. Wood artisans pulled from a forest ripe with rare plant life, able to sustain the most discerning carver. What the village did not have, was a place to rest after the exceedingly long hours of labor.
The Den was created to allow Mayson's father to protect his family from the elements while using his brilliant cooking skills to satisfy the pallets of the local artisans. The food was a hit and with the vast wealth created by orders from kings, queens, dignitaries, and wealthy merchants.

"I'd be willin' ta say more nice things about the fat man, if he'd forgive my tab..."
