Flimious Flamhart

Summary report: Lt. Flimious Flamhart – 18th Cadian

Lt. Flamhart joined the Guard of his own will, being recruited from a small agri-world the name of which is so unimportant it seems to have not been recorded on his file. Exemplarily service as an officer of the local PDF meant that he was eagerly accepted by Cadian command and quickly became a proud officer of the Astra Militarum. His reports say that he was loyal to his unit, pious and extremely capable in combat, both in fighting and leading his men through many dangerous missions through-out the sector.   It was on his last mission where high command personally requested him and his unit clear out a den of the Ruinous powers where, after dispatching more dens than command was even aware of and clearing the entire planet of evil and sanctifying the world once more for the people, they offered him an alternative to the soldier life. Since his skills (while impressive) were better suited for clearing heretics from the sector, they knew that he would work best as a sole agent working to dispatch the enemies of the holy God emperor. This was a rare position and is very clearly not working with the inquisition and having none of those powers. Lt. Flamhart reluctantly agreed to the offer of becoming a sole agent and set out to clear the sector of any evil that dare threaten the good people.   “The Emperor watches over and protects us all, especially in our darkest hour”

  • A great story while… vague and confusing to anyone who takes a good look at Lt. Flimious Flamhart’s report. It certainly looks convincing enough and he looks the part – Tall, Brave eyes and a great coat that billows out on a large gust of wind. But unfortunately, this is entirely a fabrication, like many things in Flim’s life.   Flim was born on Scionis Secundus in the undercity city, not to anyone worth mentioning. As he grew older it was clear that he had two major talents – Talking his way into opportunities and then talking his way back out just before the fighting started. He also always has an eye for a deal, regardless of the possible implications when his ruse starts to be discovered. Many times when a deal starts to go bad, he closes the deal quickly by threating to sell to another party and after receiving the funds and cannot ever be found by them again as he escapes through the vast undercity.   His proudest possession is an Imperial Officer’s Greatcoat that he found on one of these escapes. The officer clearly didn’t need it anymore as he lay face down in a pool of his own blood, so Flim took it and with a few searches found a unit that doesn’t exist currently from Cadia and repaired the coat so that it looked authentic, at least to the untrained eye.   It was then that the fabrication of the Imperial Officer began. He started referring to himself as Flimious and found quickly that many customers were much happier dealing with an Officer of the guard It was on one of these deals that he came to attention from The Perseus Dynasty. They were quickly aware that Flim was not who he said he was, but that he decent at sales and that the heir of the dynasty would require further instruction in the arts of making a deal. He was invited to join the family to both continue his dealings and to train their heir. He would pose as a younger brother of the family and be given all the prestige of being in the dynasty.   It was a good deal.
