Thorgrim Grudgebearer musters a throng to rescue her. He, as well as the High Elf army under Tyrion that was sent to rescue her, fail. Mallobaude begins his rebellion against his father, King Louen, to free Bretonnia from subservience to the false Lady.

2523: In desperation, Mallobaude enters a pact with Arkhan the Black and other undead. The Wood Elves join the Bretonnian forces, who meet with Mallobaude's army at Quenelles. While the rebels manage to defeat the army, the Green Knight decapitates Mallobaude and reveals himself to be Gilles le Breton.
