Frost-Giants
Frost-Giants are a primeval race of Beasts that dwelt in what was once a massive grassland before it became the Tripoles.
Frost-Giants are not, as their name suggests, humanoid in any form. They closely resemble bears and elephants, and are bipedal. Their closest relatives are the Foxlings. As they are shy and prefer to isolate themselves from others, not much is known about Frost-Giants. Their Magic Level is Green, Flank Silver.
Basic Information
Anatomy
In appearance, Frost-Giants are like massive grizzly-bears. They stand on six legs (two rear-legs used for walking and one pair of muscular arms) that resemble the hooves of an elephant. They are notable for constantly singing melodiously as a way of communication, although they use sounds and whistles instead of words. They are able to spew acid from their mouths as a defense-mechanism. Their bodies are covered in thick pelts of snow-white fur which they shed in the dry-season, and are specially suited to live in the realm in which they move (since the atmosphere has a higher viscosity than normal air) in the Tripoles.
