Yip
Yip is a a doomed realm; a dry, rainless desert. It is a land of deserted villages, dead fields, fallen soldiers and blasted trees where the graves vomit out their dead and the clocks run backward. Time works differently here, and day and night seem to be one endless stream of darkness.
Yip is famous for one thing; its battles. The most epic wars have been fought on the grounds of Yip, and ancient relics (such as crashed Gunships and crystallized skeletons) are proof of this.
Geography
Blasted clean of all but the harshest and most nightmarish forms of life imaginable, the deserts of Yip pushes even the strongest minds to the limits of their ability to tolerate the insanity of what they see. It is unknown how the land of Yip was turned into such a hellish land, but biological or chemical warfare from the Overlords may have fashioned the wastes.
The few remaining lakes are acid, and the plant and fruits are toxic. The air is barely breathable, and is almost as bad as the Hellscapes.
The people that remain in Yip are mostly Undead who speak a language known as Yippish. The only intact building in Yip is the Temple-of-Yip.
Fauna & Flora
The skies above this area are filled with Terrors, leather-winged creatures that resemble pterodactyls, but which sport caricatures of grins, and look vaguely like sting-rays and mantas. In the valleys below them are Scavengers, pink stork-creatures with long serrated beaks who feed on smaller predators known as "Cappies" that appear as large humanoid figures covered in black matted fur with knife-like claws, a set of blank pure-white eyes and faces of skulls with wolfish grins.
Another common fauna is a species of arthropod similar to pill-bugs with bright red patterns on their dorsal carapace. These insects, known as "Critters", enter through the mouth, eyes, ears or armpits and infect targets with an incurable flu known simply as "Sandpaper", a sickness worse than cholera, smallpox, typhus and yellow-fever.
Natural Resources
The land was once bountiful, but now the only resources left are volcanic-rocks, metals and crystals poisoned by the radiation.
