Joby

Joby Oldskool is a human male commoner who was born and raised on the outskirts of Waterdeep. He trained at the Font of Knowledge for general business and has since made a living doing administrative work for the The Guilds of Waterdeep. At 6 foot tall, he is a bit overweight - as any great chef should be. And a great chef he is! He is passionate about his food and creating a place for people to enjoy it. Of note, he introduced his signature dish - Spaghetti and Meatballs with Garlic bread - at Furanto's Rest and it has been a smash hit. 

Relationships

Joby is a married man, a father of two, and very motivated to make the most of his new job as Manager/Operator of a tavern - Furanto's Rest - in the North Ward. He seems to be skilled in delegating tasks to the rest of the staff at Furanto's Rest, but has a habit of stepping in and just doing the work that he's assigned to others. While he grumbles that he has to do everything, it seems more a point of pride than any real let down from the rest of the staff.
He seems not only appreciative, but fiercely loyal to the Deepwater Protocol for giving him the chance to run his own tavern. The adventurers have also noticed how thankful he seems that heroes like the DP exist to make the world a better place for those like him.
