Vajra Safahr

Vajra Safahr is the 7th Blackstaff of Waterdeep and current resident of Blackstaff Tower and leader of the Gray Hands a sub-group of Force Gray.
Vajra came to Waterdeep around 1476 to learn foreign magic as part of her studies.   However, she fell in love with Samark Dhanzscul the 6th Blackstaff and remained in the city much longer than origianlly planned.
Samark made Vajra the heir to the Blackstaff before he was killed in 1479 before Vajra was fully prepared to assume the role of Blackstaff.   The power passed on from Blackstaff to heir left Vajra semi-conscious and she was captured by the wizard that killed Samark.
Thanks to the efforts of a group of adventurers Vajra was rescued and has played a vital role in the defense of Waterdeep since taking ownership of the Tower, forming an leading the group known as Gray Hands.
