Session XIV: The Sewer of the Rat-King Report

General Summary

Continuing on down the sewer passages, the party find a group of spiders that are content to wait for the party to kill the rat king so that they can feast on the rats. Going south, the party find the pipes that are leaking the magical sewage. The engineer begins to work but the commotion causes the rat king as his guards to be alerted to the party's presence. 
In the ensuing battle, the party is able to dispatch the rat king and his guards in time for the engineer to fix the pipes. Looting the corpses of the slain, they find a wooden nutcracker among some spare coins. The party exited the sewers and returned to Gaspar's Reclamations for the payment of the contract. Showing the nutcracker to Gaspar, the shopkeeper offers a hefty sum to aquire it. The party agrees and return to the Widdershins.
