Session XV: Kicking About on Bral Report

General Summary

After getting instructions from Zaufanie, the party set out to find a working fighter craft, scrolls of Air Bubble, Floating Disks to replace the old landing gear, updated Star Charts, specifically for Coliar, Food stuffs, Ammo, and find a merchant named Silas Dergal. The party headed to the Royal Sailmakers of Bral to find landing gear. On the way, they spot a Goblin Blade for sale by a goblin. After some haggling and tears on the goblin's part, the party bought the ship and Dalvanak flew it to the Widdershins. Meanwhile, the rest of the party went to the Royal Sail Makers. Garlith talked with the proprietor and was able to exchange the landing gear for floating disks. Thaddius returns to the party with some star charts he got for free off a man in a bar and with Dalvanak in back, they head to Gaspar's Reclaimations. The disaffected clerk sells the party three scrolls of Air Bubble. Going to the Smith's Coster, the party requisition ammunition and powder and then picking up food stuffs and equipment from Frada's Equipment. In speaking to the party, Frada tells them that Silas Dergal has risen from a nobody to one of Bral's most successful merchants. 
Heading to the opulent merchant house of Silas Dergal, the party are mistaken for a contracted party of adventurers and brought to Dergal. The merchant asks the party to rough up a ship repairer named Rhodian Windbreath. Rhodian cheated Dergal over repairs to some ships he had sent to Rhodian. He gives the party a copy of the contract and a price book he had stolen from Rhodian. Written in plain Common, it is clear from the evidence that Rhodian deliberately charged Dergal far more than he usually does. The party agrees but are skeptical of Dergal.
