Session XVI: Silas Dergal and Rhodian Windbreath Report

General Summary

The party goes to Rhodion to ask him about the contract with Silas. A workman named Carl greets them and introduces them to Rhodion. They find that Rhodion not only does not speak common but that he hates common. Dalvanak uses his telepathy to communicate with Rhodion and ask him about the things that Silas gave them. They determine that Rhodion did not make the contract in common and the price book is his copy in common. Carl confesses to giving the price book and some legal paper to Silas because he just seemed so convincing.
The party decided they would sneak into Silas's house to determine where the artifact is. They enter his merchant house. After investigating around with Grewarum wildshaping into a spider and Dalvanak sensing lifeforms, they investigate the whole place. Dalvanak is able to enter the house through a privy grate. Dalvanak, however, trips an alarm while trying to open a window.
