Session XVIII: Bizarre Bazars of Bral Report

General Summary

The party leave the Widdershins with a flyer in hand to Gaspar's Reclamations, seeking a job and some magical items. They encounter the titular Gaspar who sells the party several magic items. Grewarum is able to sell a club and receives a cloak of protection and moon sickle. Thaddius purchased some Elven chainmail. 
Gaspar offers the party a job to find a missing city engineer in the sewers and help him complete his task.
With a hand drawn map from Gaspar, the party headed to the sewers. Entering the fetid tunnels of the Bralian underdark, they find the boat of the engineer, bridge over the infected water, and a wooden door to another tunnel. Thaddius sends his unseen servant to scout and finds that there is a den of wererats on the other side of the door. Talking loudly in the tunnel, wererat guards come to the door and demand to know who the party is. The party is able to bribe the wererats to let them in and give them the engineer. 
The party speak with the engineer, Gnarli Deepdarrow, who tells them he was sent down to fix a magical spill into the sewer from some mages. He tells them that he just needs to affix some filters to the pipes. The wererat leader, Wormclaw, tells them that the Rat King deposed him as leader of Clan Loosetooth. He did so with help of the Holy Juice and he would give the party back their money if they stopped the Holy Juice. After agreeing, Wormclaw gives them a key to a gate to the other part of the sewers that is not as guarded.
The party set out across the main sewer canal over the bridge with the engineer in tow. Passing by one passage, they see two gelatinous cubes blocking the passage with two of the Rat King's guards behind them. They entered through the gate with the key and found some skeletons that Thaddius dispatches with a fireball, alerting unseen foes in other chambers. 
Continuing on, Dalvanak and Grewarum recognize the presence of oozes in the sewer water at the junction. They inform the party and they sneak past
