Session XXV: A Ship Full of Feyr Report

General Summary

The party engaged the six feyr with all they had. Garlith fired away with his crossbows, Darius lunged in with his rapier, Dalvank chopped through with Surek's old sword, Garrakas swung his own radiant sword, and Faddius fired a fire bolt. Then, the feyr attacked with their tentacles and bites. One managed to bite Dalvanak, filling him with fear and latching onto the illithid with its tentacle. Another grappled Darius and another grappled Garrakas. Darius remained trapped in the grapple and stabbed the feyr holding him. Dalvanak was able to get free and attack another one of the feyr. Garrakas unleashed a wrathful smite upon one of the feyr, slaying it. 
The feyrs attacked again, grappling Dalvanak and Garrakas again. Darius escaped his grapple and strikes out with his rapier, bringing one feyr to a critical condition. Garlith continued to dodge around and fire his crossbows, striking the feyr from different angles. Dalvanak escaped another grapple ahd he bloodied the feyr that grappled him. Still grappled, Garrakas struck at the feyr that held him but was ineffective. Faddius dashed out and fired a fire bolt to further damage the feyr. 
Then, the most damaged feyr turned invisible to escape. Dalvanak had other ideas and was able to strike both down, killing them. Grewarum leaves the helm as he senses the feyr are coming to get him. The rest of party rushes to follow the feyrs going upstairs. Darius teleports and rushes up the final stairs to the top deck where the feyr have come out of invisibility and lets fire with his pistols. The rest of the party catches up and lets loose with their own weapons and spells from a distance until the feyrs die.
