Half man, half horse, the Kaba roam the plains of the Sorrowdrought, but as rulers not wanderers. Their numbers are many, and by all, they are known as the harbingers of desert storms. They are followers of Vrahin, and as such, they circle the desert on tracing the path of Bahllen, the Great Whale of the Sands. Conquest and the Hunt are the Kaba way of life, as their land yields no fruit and bears no crops. Their wealth exists only in the vastness of their land, their strength lies in the unity of the fold, their glory carried on only by the tales told by neighboring peoples, urging outsiders off their lands.
