Adamant

Adamant, also known as Meteoric Adamant, Bluesilver or Comet Silver, is an extremely hard metal that appears as an extraterrestial metal dropped from certain meteorites. While it's origin is nothing less than a complete mystery, its extremely high hardness combined with it's capability to keep an extremely sharp edge has made the metal rare, but popular for weaponsmithing. It's extremely high melting point however and need to weld it to traditional metals in order for the final product to not end up too brittle has posed a challenge to blacksmiths throughout the ages, with that, together with the rarity of the metal in general making Adamant weapons, tools and armour extremely rare throughout the continent.
