Eldar

The Eldar, in their own tongue known as the Gerosaimo and often somewhat mistakenly called "elves" are a race of humanoids that trace their ancestry back to the Elves for a significant degree. Genetically however, human genes prove dominant, leading to the species as a whole a rare sort outside of the places where they are dominant, such as Saiko and Xulde.

Although the average eldar lives up to 300 years and in rare cases even to 500 (mostly in Xulde), the Eldar have a short period in which they are fertile in comparison with those long life expectancies, with men on average only being able to produce offspring between the ages of 30 and 120, while for women it lies even shorter between 25 and 60 (on average).
