Language Meta

Language is a big deal in West-Argo, as is only logical with a number of languages above the 40. Knowing how much work it is to work out even one language, let alone multiple (looking at you J.R.R. Tolkien), it would be a worldbuilding adventure of many years to work that out alone. Therefore, I have put in place a temporary system to fall in for the all unique languages that West-Argo is rich.

Language on the Chopping Block

When I started this project back in 2018, I decided that my best option is most likely to use our real world languages as a temporary solution to my "Dilemma of the Many Tongues". Although I gave it a little twist.

Speech language and written language is seperated from eachother, in where our real world written script get's used for languages that normally do not write that way.
