Structure
There are two groups of older youths that are the defact leaders of the tribe as they have come to call it. Each one has a different idea of what they should do but as they are about equal in strength neither tries to take over completely.
History
After the Great war during the 1200s, the world was drawn into a slow genocide of every non-human creature. This caused most smaller settlements to band together and throw whatever fighting force they could at the ever-growing human population. The result was most villages being stripped of their adult population leaving behind the aging and the young. After the town of Mills was occupied the Goliath Grandpa known as Stone because of his remarkably grey color urged any of the youths who could run, swim, or crawl to follow him into the mountains away from the genocidal humans. They succeded at the cost of a serious head injury to Stone.
This is how the Remains of Mills ended up in the mountains to the north of Mills but no farther. They now sit and scavange a meager life all the while the humans close in each day.
