A carefully prepared belt of six oversized rifle rounds, each made of rune-carved brass casings, a core spike of lead, and a clear glass tip filled with softly glowing, red-orange liquid. These rounds carry the thirst for violence and revenge carried in the Scar that Abides' influence. When used as firearm ammunition, they count as a magical weapon for overcoming resistance and immunity, deal the normal weapon damage, and afflict a target with the Scar's discontent. As a free action when you hit a creature with one of these rounds, you may cast the spell crown of madness on the target without expending a spell slot. If you lose your concentration on this spell before the end of the target's next turn, they are still affected by the spell. After the target's next turn, the spell requires concentration and the use of your actions to maintain control as per normal. The equipment built to produce these rounds can reload all spent casings during a downtime action, bringing your total back to 6 rounds available at the start of each adventure.
