Gideon's Speech - Note

This is Gideon. The rumours are true, we've found something, deep under the town. An old giant device - damaged, out of control, and shouting warnings at us to repair it. We haven't seen it yet - just the warnings in the big lab, under the flooded scribe's fortress - but we have reason to believe it might... explode, or summon monsters, or... something that'll hurt us. I need volunteers to travel to where they keep the spare parts, a city called Scora Bael, and bring them back. The Kendalls say they'll give repairing it a try. I don't know how much time we've got. We'll send for help from the mainland, but right now this is our best shot. Who's with me?
