Recovered from the body of the fell alchemist Kolya, this palm-sized vial sits in a larger cradle of pure gold, scrimshawed finger-bones, knots of glyph-engraved glass tubes, and filters of six different precious metals. A complex arrangement of dials sit on the back, needles shifting with time, temperature, arrangement of the moons, and more bizarre unknown conditions. A creature holding the distillation can provide a drop of blood to a needle at the top of the device, and 100gp of alchemical reagents. Over the next 24 hours, the reagents and blood mix through means unknown, filter and infuse, and settle above the vial. When ready, you may turn the tap above the vial, either to an arrow pointing downwards, or pointing upwards. Either way, the brewed potion is released into the vial, with unknown effects. The potion retains its power for 1 day, after which it becomes inert. Each 24-hour brewing cycle produces enough liquid to create three potions. Research downtime may reveal more about the uses and functions of the potions created, but their functions are currently unknown and potentially dangerous.
