Quill of Illuminated Drafting

Wondrous Item - Wand - very rare - requires attunement
This long steel quill is capped with a shimmering phoenix feather, magic of creation and fire running through it. With a skilled user, golden ink flows to create artwork that springs to life, images of energy and fire spark and ignite, and sketching schematics into the world temporarily.   The quill may be used as a spellcasting focus, and has 8 charges. While attuned to the quill you can use an action to sketch a spell effect, spend 1 or more of its charges to cast one of the following spells from it using your spell save DC: acid stream (1 charge), scorching ray (2 charges), cloud of daggers (2 charges) or conjure barrage (3 charges). Each day at dawn, it regains 1d6+2 charges.   The quill also allows you spend charges to create three-dimensional objects by drawing them in two dimensions. The ink flows from the quill to form the desired object as you concentrate on its image and move the quill. For each minute spent drawing, you can cover a 10 square foot / 1 square metre area, which can then be made real as inanimate objects or terrain features — such as doors, pits, flowers, trees, cells, rooms, or weapons. This expends one charge from the quill for each 5 x 5 ft. (or 25 square feet) surface covered by the initial drawing, or each 5 x 5 x 5 ft. cube (or area up to 125 cubic feet), whichever measure is higher.   When you complete the drawing, the object or terrain feature depicted becomes a real, nonmagical object. Thus, painting a door on a wall creates an actual door that can be opened to whatever is beyond. Painting a pit on a floor creates a real pit, and its depth counts against the charges requires to create the object. These objects are reliable for 24 hours, before losing strength and becoming fragile or non-functional.   Nothing created by the quill can have a value greater than 25 gp. If you paint an object of greater value (such as adamantine, a diamond or a pile of gold), the object looks authentic, but close inspection reveals it is made from paste, bone, or some other worthless material. The object created is heavily dependent on its appearance as drawn, and a similar worthless creation may occur if a particularly complex operation, internal components, or material composition is required.   If you draw a form of energy such as fire or lightning, unless drawn as part of a casting a spell through the quill, the energy appears but dissipates as soon as you complete the drawing, doing no harm to anything.
