Selang's Pipes

A set of panpipes made from the bones and sinew of unknown creatures, inscribed with dozens of sylvan words for "fear", and creating whistling sounds of discordant notes and unsettling chords. Once wielded by a selang, a dark insectoid satyr of the unseelie fey, it still holds power over fear and discord.
A creature wielding the pipes can use their action to make a Charisma (Performance) check, and select a spell from the list below with a DC equal to or less than the results of their check. They may then use the pipes to cast that spell, with spell save DC 14. After attempting a spellcast, the pipes cannot be used again until the next dusk.
