Session 4 - Into the Jungle - Shiv's Letter

Yesterday, myself and a few others from our community, took to the forest to track down a large predator I had come across during my hunts. We were successful in this endeavour a returned with its skin and a large amount of meat.
The evening we tried to rest in an ancient dilapidated giant tower. We were set upon by a group of drow from one of the local tribes. Unfortunately, negotiations did not go the way we wanted and we were forced to flee.
The cause of their ire seemed to be that they felt we "northerners" had encroached on their lands for far too long. When asked what happened to the disappeared settlers, they simply replied: "they left".
I think they know more then they are letting on and someone who has more finesse when it comes to weighty conversations might be able to coax more information out of them. However, I would be wary, they consider was to be enemies and will attack if we are found in the south.
