This spear of engraved ash is tipped with tiny khyber dragonshards embedded in steel. When striking an enemy, at a word and a twist they can be made to ignite.

Once per round when the wielder hits a creature or unattended object with the spear, they can spend a bonus action to twist the handle and speak a command word. If they do so, the target ignites (if possible), catching on fire.
A creature or object who is on fire suffers 1d10 damage at the beginning of each of their turns, until they or another adjacent creature spend an action to extinguish the flames.
