The spiritual centre of town, a place for anyone who respects or reveres nature, the gods or other powers. There are powers beyond mortal knowledge, and those with a spiritual connection to our world or one beyond can meditate, pray and make offerings for great boons.
Upgrading the temple adds shrines, meditation cloisters, and places of worship or communion, improving concordance bonuses when you call for aid, and increasing the power of any called servants.

Communing
After spending a downtime action here communing with some higher power, during the next adventure a character may use their action to
call for aid, receiving an unpredictable boon from a deity, power or nature itself. During the next adventure, Roll a d100 and consult the call for aid table, adding a concordance bonus, and gain either a blessing or more direct assistance.
When you choose to petition a higher power, describe what you are doing. This could be anything from building a shrine to a deity in the temple, to speaking with a warlock patron, to finding a nice patch of grass and meditating in nature. Then, check the table below and discuss with the DM to find your concordance bonus - how likely your power is to send assistance.

call for aid. Roll 1d100, adding your concordance bonus to the total result, and consult the table below.

Blessings and Servants
When the power you petition responds, it will either cast a blessing or send a servant to assist you.
A blessing typically mimics an existing divine spell, and is cast according to the power's wishes, requiring no concentration from the petitioner. A minor blessing may mimic the effects of
bless, bane, aid or healing spirit, while a major blessing may take the form of a
mass healing word, a fire shield or a death ward.
A servant arrives and acts on the initiatve count immediately following the petitioner. It is friendly to you, and will often take suggestions, but is not under your direct control. The servant remains for
1 round, plus one round per level of the temple, before it returns. It's CR is roughly tied to the level of the temple, but varies in form - on the same roll, a druid calling out to a land may be met by a grizzly bear, a forge cleric by an azer, a devotion paladin by a lantern archon, or a fiendish warlock by a spine devil.
The exact nature of these boons is strongly affected by what you are petitioning - a celestial servant of the Sovereigns, the spirit of the land itself, and an eldritch warlock patron will all provide very different blessings and servants.
Divine Intervention?
The gods in Eberron are distant, but the power of faith is undeniable. Calling out to a deity like the Sovereigns or the Silver Flame will never get a response directly from the god themselves, but one of the celestial host or spirits who claims to serve them may answer. The natural world itself is also an enormous source of power, and who can say whether a well-timed bear attack was divine intervention or coincidence?
And worth noting, this ability is similar to the cleric's Divine Intervention roll, but with greatly reduced power, specific rewards, and the requirement of spending your downtime petitioning. Divine Intervention only works for powerful clerics, is always available, and is much more versatile.
