The Maw

A research site run by Lyndara, and used for magical study and arcane engines that harnessed the nearby Fane, a strong source of nature energy. Deep underground in an area that has become subsumed into Khyber, it is the last known resting place of Lyndara, after her death at the hands of her slaves in the wake of the Giant's destruction.
A smaller, experimental Rebirth device was found here, along with infusions of shadow - visions of the past show this to be one of the first places the drow were created, through infusing them with shadows. Her alchemical tools, and her Destiny Arm, the Darkest Depth, were also found here.
