Umbragen
The Umbragen or shadow elves are a secretive culture of drow that occupy a realm of Khyber under the Hollow Woods, and perhaps more extensively than that. When the Age of Giants came to a close, the ancestors of the Umbragen fled into the depths of Khyber. They persisted under Xen'drik for a long time against many horrible monsters, leaving the surface behind forever, honing dangerous shadow magics from an unknown source, and surviving the dangers of Khyber.
The Umbragen are an incredibly secretive culture with little contact with outsiders, and few outsiders know anything about them. Umbragen contrarily know very little about the outside world, believing the world to have "ended" with the death of the Giants.
The Umbragen drow speak a dialect of Elven that bears similarities to Giant and Undercommon, with a more guttural tone.
