Sample after action report

General Summary

Sample after action report   The fat and surprisingly short Tabaxi named Saber Teadrinker entered The Murky Ale tavern. "Nesta, you worthless fleabag! Bring me a tea!" He shouted at the Tabaxi bartender as most all the other patrons turned to look at the loud call. "Gather round if ye eyegawkers wish to hear of the grand adventure me and my fellows had." Saber made his way to the large middle table. The Table of Lore it is called for the fact all the adventurers carve into it a map of what they find outside of Yegtroth. Saber stood proudly as some folks pulled their chairs close.   "Ye might be wondering where me fellows be your asking yourselves! Aye, I see it in yer eyes!" "Me fellows are seeing that worthless acolyte of a cleric at the shrine!" He stated somberly. "Our fool leader was to stubborn to just follow the trail out to the lake. He said he new a shortcut! Bah!!!" "We must have wandered north off the trail and we plumb missed that five mile big water filled pit!" "Anyway, we must have traveled like two hours past the lake and we came into a thicker part of woods" "Then out of nowhere, well actually it stepped out from behind a large tree. Haha" Saber laughed shaking his head. "There in front of us stood a bear man! Seven feet tall at least! He demanded to know what we were doing trespassing on bear-kin land" "Well our leader out of frustration; least I think that was what it was. He says screw you there are no signs in these here woods!" "Seems the Bear liked that response and swung his war hammer at at our leader, and well all hell broke lose." "Well we be holding our own till he began to take some good licks from us. He then backs away and puts a horn to his bloody mug." "Don't ya know there would be more of his bear-kin close by. Well things turned sour fast. One of ours took a spear that seemed to come from nowhere!" "I commanded we retreat and we skedaddled back the way we came. Them bear-kin fellows chased us a bit, but I expertly guided me wounded fellows out of that territory and back here to the safety of stinking Yegtroth." One old fellow listening, squinted his eyes a asked "Why is it you show no signs of battle?" Saber eyes went wide "Well there is my Tea!" "Please excuse me!" He strode confidently off to the bar!
