King's Cup Steeplechase

History

King Geruff began sponsoring a thoroughbred horse race in 580 to celebrate the anniversary of his marriage to Aurora Morgan, who loved horses. It became the most popular event sponsored by the throne and horse breeders from across the continent brought their best racers to compete on the King's stage.

Held annually on the first day of autumn.
