Kalki

He was once a mortal warrior who lived a life of passion and fury. He was renowned for his strength and bravery in battle, and his heart burned with an unquenchable fire. One day, he met a mortal woman named Hela, who was unlike anyone he had ever met. They decided to spend the rest of their lives together, and made a promise to love and protect each other until the end of time. However, Erebus, God of the Underworld and Darkness, jealous of Kalki's love and success, plotted against him and caused Hela to die in a terrible accident. Kalki was devastated and vowed to take revenge on Erebus. He spent years training and preparing for the ultimate showdown, summoning all of his rage and fury. When the day of the final duel finally arrived, Kalki and Erebus faced off in a battle that shook the foundations of the earth. Despite his best efforts, Kalki was no match for Erebus' divine power, but he was able to hold his own and gain the respect and admiration of many.
Impressed by Kalki's dedication to getting revenge, Nemesis, Goddess of Revenge granted him great power. Kalki was able to use this power to cause kill many of Erebus' followers. After years of persecution, Erebus finally sued for peace to protect his followers. After negotiating, with Nemesis as his chief advocate, Kalki was granted godhood in exchange for agreeing to a treaty with Erebus. Erebus was galled by his mortal rival being elevated to godhood and has always dreamed of getting revenge, but fears the repercussions of breaking the treaty. Though one concession Kalki could not secure was recovering Hela from the underworld, she would remain in Erebus' domain forever.
Kalki was primarily known for his destruction, but after gaining godhood developed a reputation as a god of rebirth as well. He remembered Hela's love of flowers and other beautiful plants and took an interest in the regeneration of the Spring. He eventually urged his followers to be conscious of all death and rebirth cycles: plant new trees after harvesting lumber, rebuild homes after a fire, etc.
