The Journal Entry’s title

Cornelius gives us the mission. 6 days travel there. He gave us a potion that has a levitating spell so that we can use it on the rock! He also gave us a list of magical components that he needs: Honeycomb, Ivory, A snake skin, Phosphorescent Moss, and a Quill plucked from a sleeping bird. We meet some gnome traders on the road and Keath contributes 10gp towards buying some of the supplies. Keath prays to Xanthe and Kalki and Xanthe is more prominent. She is leading me to believe in the nature of the area. And wouldn't you know it, we got to the cave there's a bunch of plant monsters coming after us...   We ran out of time, to be continued...

The Journal Entry’s title

Session 5/9/2023   Keath, Bernithe, Shok, Glogmealk, Forad Longarm (Drawven Barbarian - Corey).   The lord Marshall has instructed us to not return until we discover the mouth of the river.   We head out and the first day we find a splatter of blood on the way we were going. We get some clues that there is something scary out there from camp. We aren't able to figure out what it is.   We come across a lone hut that seems to be a bird house. There are some sort of bird people living in the house but we can't communicate with them. brother Hugmug and I leave some treats out to try to be a nice peace offering. We see from a distance that the resident is a Blue Heron form of bird person and accepts our offerings.   I pray to Xanthe but shift my attention to Kalki. I feel a shift in the wind that seems significant and tied to the praying that I was doing. The wind shifts from blowing from the South to blowing from the West. I smell that there are new earthy and iron tones of smell on the new wind. Maybe he is trying to tell me that I can get some weapons in that direction...   It seems like West is the way to go. I convince the group to turn that way.   We keep heading West and the group hears some strange music coming from the area carried on the wind. We follow the noise of the music and come upon a wild cave filled with unbelievable vegetation that we've never seen before. Keath is struck by the beauty of the cave and is unable speak to include spellcasting until a short rest.   The cave turns out to be the lair of a young bronze dragon, who seems to be interested in eating as many people as possible. He flies off to search for the encampment.   We move on to find the mouth of the river.   We all receive 410 xp. Keath is up to 895xp!
