Sect of Zephyr and Tethys

The followers of Tethys and Zephyr value balance, harmony, and cooperation. Tethys is associated with the seas, which are often seen as calm and serene, while Zephyr is associated with the wind, which can be wild and unpredictable. But when both the Seas and Winds are in tumult, there is complete chaos. Together, they represent a balance between stillness and movement, tranquility and chaos.   Their sect also values a connection to nature and the elements, as Tethys and Zephyr rule over some of the most fundamental aspects of the environment. They also place a high value on travel and exploration, as the winds and seas have long been seen as pathways to new lands and adventures.   In terms of religious practices, the followers of Tethys and Zephyr offer prayers and offerings to the gods before embarking on long journeys, asking for their protection and guidance. They also perform rituals to honor the couple and ask for good weather, safe seas, and fair winds. These rituals might involve offerings of fresh flowers or herbs, and perhaps a ritual dance or song that evokes the ebb and flow of the sea and the gusts of wind.   The sect is also be involved in environmental activism, seeking to protect and preserve the natural world, including the oceans, skies, and the creatures that inhabit them. They believe that Tethys and Zephyr have a responsibility to care for their domains, and they may seek to do their part in upholding that responsibility.   Also Tethys and Zephyr are the only two gods that are married and so are revered and honored during wedding ceremonies. Special blessings are sought by couples who are about to be married.   The joint sect values and celebrates their two gods on the solstices and equinoxes. It is wildly popular to be married during the spring equinox to gain the favor of Tehys to watch over the marriage. It is so popular than in dense cities, mass-marriages are held on the spring equinox to meet demand.
