Dwarfs

Dwarfs are common in the Empire, particularly in the mountainous regions of the North and West.  
There are several dwarven holds on the borders of the empire, who thrive on industry and trade with their human neighbours. 
Compared to their cousins in the Northern Realms, these southern Dwarves are often shorter and stockier.  They commonly boast red hair and long plaited beards.
