Maustus

(pronounced Maw-stus)
A strange man with sunken eyes, who was present at the Embers meeting. Maustus was seen at The Serpent's Kiss attempting to hire a ship from Rae-en. He offered the party the opportunity to speak with the captain and book passage to the Mainland.
Maustus clearly had some knowledge of Azurumme and was keen to use the power of the crystals and meteors to further the ends of the The Embers in their uprising against the Imperial State.  ]
