Races in The Empire

The vastly predominant race of the Empire is Human.  
Elves (high, forest, dark), Dwarfs, Halflings, Gnomes are common.
All other races are uncommon and if seen would mostly likely not be native to Westfal.  
Lizardfolk are native to The Mire, but rarely seen outside it.   Ogres are commonly used as mercenaries in military.
Verdant and The Spiney Isles have a more mixed population than other areas due to their sea going communities.
'Monster' races such as Goblins, Orcs etc would be seen as monstrous and evil by most citizens.
