Winds and time slipped memories away from the white bones that jutted from the cracked earth until names and faces were forgotten far to the ages. A form drifts among the dying and long dead as stirrings of magic rise in her fingers and slide across the bones of people lost to the living world. They breathe their secrets to her and she nods, writes in her notebook, and walks away to the next chain of bodies left by the denizens of the world. She keeps a toll of all the death over her many years and dresses up those with bodies and families for a pyre or a burial; a Death-Keeper, the first of her kind.
