Else Sigloben is ordered to report to Duke Konstantin at Castel Drakenburg by the Lector of Tahme. The reason for this re-assignement is unclear and Else is puzzled, but on arrival she is told that she has been chosen to hunt down a Daemon that has been terrorising the village of Herzhald.
