Crucible Memo: Operational Update

Due to ongoing field effect leakage the decision was made to transfer stored energy from the Crucible to secondary storage in order to preserve as much as possible whilst a fix for the bleeding can be implemented. Inevitably, there was some loss of energy during the transfer but approximately 80% of the stored capacity was transferred successfully.
Secondary storage is currently a large volume of soul crystals and some of the puppet master’s little moppets. Secondary storage is energy-stable (i.e. no bleeding) but bulky, and volatile (which is why we don’t use soul crystals for long-term storage in general).
A small Brotherhood force was deployed to assist allies in Stonetalon, combatting a small cell of rogue Grimtotem elementalists.
Unfortunately, the small scale of the conflict meant that no significant amounts of soul energy was available for capture. Of note, capture rate appeared to be about thirty percent, implying more soul shielding or – more likely – prior claims.
Close proximity to the fighting, and better tuning, means that we were able to reduce the losses and attenuation during capture to negligible amounts – i.e. as long as the Crucible is close enough to the fighting, it can capture all of any unshielded soul energy.
More tuning and calibration data has been acquired, which should help us in deploying the fixes for the leakage issue.
Assets have been withdrawn to Shadowprey.
