“Upon one of our many excursions, especially within the alternate… er, Draenor, we had a good few run-ins with the locals. This means the Arrakoa also. Now, whilst we met them in the Outlands of Draenor, none were quite as interesting as this particular lot. They tend to hide within the clutches of the Shadow Realm, just like our Master does. Upon further discussions and numerous acts of begging, we managed to procure a vial or two of this gloopy liquid, which that puts the drinker into a trance. This trance allows them to move within the Shadow Realm, for a short period of time. From our research, and the loss of a good co-worker, we also deducted it has a limit as to radius. We assume this is due to the ingredient dosages used, but we’re not quite sure. Neither is Jorin, actually. He might be still be out there. “

Product Functionality:

Essentially, the liquid allows the consumer to enter a limited space within the Shadow Realm for a brief period of time. Such can be used to escape difficult situations, to gather certain resources local only to the Shadow Realm, or to locate and bother Tenebrae Wiskerville.

Manufacturing process

For the average batch, you want to first prepare by placing the herbs into a large bowl (A mortar & Pestle works, but due to size takes longer), and proceed to crush them, until it turns into a dark grey paste. These are the measurements needed for this step:

Six Dreamfoil leaves

One Black Lotus leaf (They’re hard to come by, and if these are not added, you will not be able to move within the Shadow Realm)

A full Twilight Jasmine, or two whiptail stalks, whichever. (Whiptail is located on the Isle of Tol Barad, but only offers half the deal)

One Fireweed leaf

Once you have created this paste, add it to your base solution, which should have been made prior. This involves mixing the other components, and letting it set.

Small amounts of blood (Maybe a full mouthful to a goblet, we didn’t really get that far. Funnily enough, the blood of birds works better. Who knew?)

Full vial of thicker substance.

Once you’ve added the paste to the solution, give it a solid mix until the liquid turns completely black. Then take the vial and shake it for a good minute, then store in a lukewarm place for six hours. Once done, the concoction is ready.

(Note: In order to increase the potency, simply double the Dreamfoil and Black Lotus, and add a similar amount of blood. This will double the lenience in both distance and time. Sadly, it will not increase more.)

WARNING:

It is unknown what happens if you exhaust the time limit or leave the designated space, and your life may very well be forfeit.
The Shadow Realm and exposure to it can result in serious loss of sanity and or physical wellbeing. Additionally, the inhabitants of that realm are quite likely to kill you if you do anything to attract attention.
Should any frequent Light user drink this, the allocated area and time limit is vastly diminished. Research on unwitting, devout Humans has shown that the usual 15 Minutes becomes 3, and most were left mentally incapable of anything productive thereafter.
Additionally, you have about 100 yards worth of radius lenience to move around, given the standard recipe. Again, being a light user knocks that down to a 20 yard radius.

(Note: Not a single person of any remote importance was harmed or killed to bring you this information. Apart from Jorin. Obviously. Though we might have lied a bit. A few bird-folk were killed, too.)
