Fel Prism Rifle (Project 78)

On the paper, there is a long and detailed drawing of a rifle. (For reference, see Gyro-Balanced Khorium Destroyer.) Below it, it is separated into different parts with instructions next to them, listing their use and how-to details. From the looks of it, it's not the easiest of things to make.
CURRENTLY IN PROTOTYPE STAGE. I cannot emphasis this strongly enough. DO NOT build one without my (Lachros Aristakhov's) knowing. Should you go firing this about will attract unwanted attention.

Usage

Upon pulling the trigger, the rifle fires a fel lance at where-ever the barrel might be pointing at. Good for medium to long range engagements. However, do note that this may not be a suitable weapon for a marksman; the lance itself is very visible and can give off your position upon firing.
The lance, upon hitting a target (Based on testing upon an alive, human victim) disintegrates metal and flesh alike, and depending on the settings that you have used on the rifle, is very capable of penetrating three targets at once. At maximum settings, the stopping power that the lance has is increased exponentially and can blow back the sturdiest of opponents. Not to mention the shooter.

The drawbacks

The drawbacks is the ammunition itself. As you fire the rifle, the fel inside the crystal that is used is expended. With the basic settings, you can fire off around ten lances. For maximum power, the whole crystal is used. Not to mention, fel crystals to be used are by no means small compared to normal bullets.

Note

Not for the mentally retarded. Should you get the settings wrong, the gun can blow up in your face when you first try it. Also maximum setting not encouraged due to the blow-back from the rifle; it is enough to send you staggering or even flying, if you are not prepared.
