Helper Bots [ Updated Swarm bots ]
Why do these now exist?
Do to our more quiet approach rather then have these lying around the lab and storage new materials were used along the same premise and upgraded coding to give us the helper bots, an example of their use was done with the move to Sri-la Village. However these have not been mass produced and a large quantity of the bots you saw were swarm bots not yet updated or converted over into this new form of bot. What are the key changes?
These bots are slower and work on their own rather then in a pack, however they are sturdier and are made out of different materials as to better serve this new functions. The new commands and materials will be added below. They can now also be used by a range of new people without arcane or coal, such will be explained below as well. As for offensive capabilities they have none but they do have defensive ones due to the addition of the mithril core. What are they made of?
The main frame of the bot is used making steel and mainly for ascetic purposes the rest of it is filled in with iron. The hollow chamber that was once in the centre of the bots however is now changed to a mithril orb of smaller size then the original hollow chamber due to the cost of the material. How do they work ?
Oral commands, and a lot of wiring. If you are unfamiliar with mechanical engineering I suggest hiring someone for this part. There is a receiver placed within the head unit which can pick up the voice of anyone near it but will only obey those who are holding their sigil near or on them. As for how it is powered, the mithril core is it's battery. It is powered by arcane and therefore need to be charged but it's battery life is a week once fully charged, a power station will be set up inside the void scribe hut to allow for this. As those who already know any enchantments placed on mithril, mithril will gain. The core has been made into an arcane store and at a cost of it's own power the bot can perform basic arcane acts such as barriers, infusions and invisibility. In turn they can also pick up heavy objects using arcane and teleport object although this function is locked for now due to the lack of a mind teleportation would require too much specification to be useful. What is their purpose?
In honest they are as they are named, helper bots. Mini Butlers. They are to help with experiments and or movement of materials or setting up of dangerous rituals.Oral commands:
Stay - Stationary position Follow - Follows the one whom said it or if a name in the registry is specified it will follow that individual Pick up - Point to an object and it will do it's best to pick it up Drop - It will gently place down whatever it is carrying Throw - Self explanatory Draw - If you have given it chalk or pencil or pen it will draw whatever basic shape you wish and in whatever size you specify Mix - If given the means to do so it will mix whatever it is asked to within two flasks or one bowl Grind - It will use a mortar and pestle to crush herbs and create paste Defend - It will defend or protect a certain target Barrier - It will erect a barrier based off your specifications and it's own capabilities Other commands can be added via a punch card slot on it's shoulder.Manufacturing process
Using the same frame as before a blacksmith can create the alloy steel and then shape it into what is needed. This is where customisation is available, rather then use iron as the plating to fill up the gaps in the frame you may use any material as long as it does not make it unable to move or has a negative effect on those nearby or other materials used. As for the mithril core simply obtain ore from a merchant or vendor or somehow we set up a mine, take it to a jewel crafter to get it into the shape of a sphere as this is key to this new update. Simply place the core in whatever you used in place of iron decoration in the centere of the bot and the next process is powering and wiring which shall be explained elsewhere. As for the robots, place a motor in each ligiment where it is
