Hexxed Item(s)
An item would be infused with an enchantment that would be malignant to the bearer over a long period of time or activated instantly at a certain moment, either by word or gesture of the bearer.
A useful thing since the item could be as inconspicuous as a ring or a necklace and given to the targeted wearer without him or her knowing its intended purpose, as well as playing on targeted person’s greed. The item in question can in theory be anything, thus one would be able to use what would be most proficient for the target to keep. As previously described Enchanted items, any long-going effects will not last forever, but it can be enough to give the Brotherhood and its members an edge. The variant with a burst effect would be able to lay dormant longer, but activation can be an issue as the wearer has to activate it.
A ritual that uses the same researched and explored method of enchanting or infusing an item with a malign power to be activated at a specific gesture or spoken word. The ritual aims to engage the five Senses of Sight, Smell, Taste, Hearing and Touch, in addition to the Mind and Spirit. Every sense has its own specific ingredients in the ritual that will bind that particular Sense to the item and the intended purpose. The ritual is somewhat dependent on the maker of the ritual and his or her perception of the world, how certain ingredients correlates to the specific power. Hence the ingredients in the ritual would change, but the outcome and the basic method of the ritual would stay the same.
The item infused or enchanted could vary from a wooden figurine to a golden necklace, however, research has proven that the more solid a material, the better an enchanting can be infused on it.
The Ritual would follow the same method as described in previous notes, (Note Myrazijn: See Previous research note labelled "Power-infused Potion for a detailed description of the ritual), with some alterations. It is important to make sure that the ingredients should also be as malign as the intended power to be infused, thus the ingredients will and can be most hazardous. Previous rituals have craved a certain calm and meditative mind, as do this too, but it is important to bring forth your dark emotions to bolster the effect of the ritual.

Effect
In this case, the ring will weaken and exhaust the wearer until the power of the infusion has run out, which would be approx. around a week or two. It will take about one day for the hexxed person to wear of the effect if the ring would be removed before the power would run out. Effect of wearing the ring will manifest itself in about three to four hours.
The hexx should manifest in such a way that it would be easily mistaken for an ailment or sickness.
As previously stated with the benign variant of this ritual, Power infused Items, when the item has been drained, it will be destroyed if the material is of lower quality. If the material is of sturdier material, the item can be taken back and recharged. A strong enough magic user might sense the original purpose and the hexx originally put on the item in this state, but it will be hard and as good as impossible to reproduce the ritual by just using the depleted item.

Gestures & Ritual
Lay out the ingredients in the circle and close it with the salt, ensuring to keep any interfering energies out of he ritual.
Follow the method of ritual as previously described, holding the item, making the intentions clear in your mind as what you want to do with it and proceed to use the other ingredients until they are all in the bowl together.
Finalize the ritual with your offering, representing your will by bleeding the rabbits lifeblood over the bowl and the items there in. Again, make your intentions clear, orally or mentally as you bind the senses to the item.
Step back and break the circle when you are finished, releasing the energies and the reaction should be instant, leaving the ring on its own upon a pile of ashes.
Note that the ring will affect anyone who holds it, so seal it away until used.
