Keys of the Scribes

Invention Purpose:

In this past and as of present we have built areas for research both individually and as a group, these keys are able to be used in any door or lock to be able to convert it into a portal to the current Void Scribe laboratory, which we will wish to either move or build up at a later date allowing our current and future scribes a great area for researching new and strange things or practicing what others have learned, putting it into practice.

How it works:

This can be a key of multiple colours / make; Wooden: These are one-time guest keys. They will break themselves upon use. Bronze: These are permanent guest keys. They will work multiple times, however many times you have checked it out for. Each time it is used it will be logged in a book as per an enchantment placed on the key, book and a quill. Silver: These are the keys of almost all Void Scribes, they will be given these when the time it right and may enter as many times as they wish. Each time it is used it will be logged in a book as per an enchantment placed on the key, book and a quill. Obsidian: These are keys of high up Void Scribes, Trusted ones or those who sit on the court. This allows not only free passage without it being logged down in books but also unrestricted access to other places that the keys will allow for in the future. How to Utilise the invention:

There are two ways this is to be utilised, another one will be mentioned in a separate ritual entry at a later date that will detail not only this ritual but others that will need to be known by the scribes for their simple helpfulness. Without a door; This will be detailed in Void Scribe Rituals, which will be written and added at a later date after revision. With a door; Simply use it as a normal key in the door and the door should turn into a temporary portal only on the side from which the key was turnt, on the other side of the door it will look completely normal. Simply step through quickly making sure all body parts get through along with clothing and storage devices.

How to craft:

Not to be shared as of current due to possible relocation of destination and possibility of misuse.

Possible Drawbacks:

Solutions:

For misplacing, we have added a new magical fail-safe within the key’s enchantments it will now teleport to a predestined location if it is dropped
