Power Infused Potions and Brews

(Note Myrazijn: As my fellow sister of the Wheel, Myandra, feel she is not fluent enough in Orcish neither in speaking or writing, she has asked me, Myrazijn, rank Void Scribe Unbound, to clean up her notes and research so that it may be understood by everyone in the brotherhood. I will endeavour to try to explain the inherent meaning to the best of my capabilities.)

Mechanics & Inner Workings

Powers and Abilities: This method and ritual enhances an healing potion to double its effect, knitting wounds and mending bones together. The old potion would offer no magical properties but that of the herbs used, while the ritual adds a magical component to it, thus making it able to mend the body in ways that would require an healer. Making it very useful where any such persons are unavailable.

Addendum:

If one would use the same method to enhance any other potion, for example a potion of Stamina, the effects would be similar in its enhancement as the healing potion mentioned above. The old potion affecting the imbiber in a physical sense, while the enhanced potion would add a magical component to it.
There would also be a difference to the ingredients if another tried the same ritual and with the same potion as the ingredients are physical representations of what oneself would consider appropriate to the specific senses. (Note Myrazijn: I would for example have used ink to represent the sense of Sight in this example ritual.) As long as the method is kept, the same outcome should result with a viable enhanced potion.
If one ingredients should be off, expect side-effects in imbiber that correlates to the sense of that specific ingredients. For example, if a ingredients representing the sense of Sight, the imbiber might suffer a loss of sight or affected seeing. It is always recommended to use a test-subject if the maker is unsure of his/her/its own capability to choose ingredients.

Manufacturing process

Start with clearing your mind, meditate to cleanse yourself from emotions that might taint the outcome of the ritual. Some might feel it necessary to wear certain ritualistic garb that might help the wearer to maintain focus during the ritual, but this is only necessary for ones own mind. (Note Myrazijn: Myandra seemed to have gone for a simplistic robe when asked, stating that she preferred to be as neutral as possible.) Assign an area for the ritual to be held, make sure there are no interruptions. Place the large bowl in the middle, with the knife beside it on one side and the potion on the other. Place the ingredients around it in a half circle, within reaching distance, the ingredients to Mind starting the left, next Sight, next Hearing, next Smell, next Touch, next Taste and finishing with the ingredient for Spirit. In this ritual, starting to the left:   Cinderbloom to represent the Mind. Life growing where there should be none. The lifeblood of a live rabbit to represent the sense of Sight. Blood is the representation of life in all beings alive. Fresh Rainwater to represent the sense of Hearing. The sound of raindrops falling, giving life to the earth. Tundra Berries to represent the sense of Smell. The scent of food, to give us sustenance and nourishment to keep us alive. The hide to represent the sense of Touch. The sense of skin against skin, touching each other when mating and creating life. Iron dust to represent the sense of Taste. The taste of lifeblood in your mouth. Spider silk to represent the Spirit. To keep and trap your spirit to your body   Use the salt to make a closed circle to contain the energies and to avoid outside energies to tamper with the ritual. Hold up the potion, focus on it and make your intentions clear on what you want to do with it, what powers you wish to enhance it with. The intention can be in your mind or spoken out loud. (Note Myrazijn: The whole ritual could be made in silent and solely spoken in your mind. It will work as long as you are focused on the intention. It is of course easier, in my humble opinion, to use spoken words as it grounds your focus.) Place the potion in the bowl and proceed to take the first ingredient on the left. Make its intentions clear, focus on why that ingredient represent the sense of, in this case, the Mind. Make a steady picture of it firmly in your mind and/or speak it out loud, describing it. Put the ingredient in the bowl and repeat with the next ingredients, until you’ve put all seven ingredients into the bowl together with the potion. To finalise the ritual there has to be an offering from the maker that represents the Will. Again, make your intentions clear, orally or mentally and make your offering into the bowl, binding the senses to the potion. (Note Myrazijn: Myandra deemed it best to offer her own blood to fuel the ritual. Any blood of a sentient being should suffice, the stronger mentally sentient being, the stronger the offering and binding.) As soon as the offering is made proper, step back and rub any part of the circle out, releasing the energies. The reaction should be instant, leaving only the enhanced flask of potion amidst a pile of ashes.
