Radio towers
Once in a while when traveling, one may encounter radio towers. Even before The Curtain fell, those structures were associated with communication and so when the material and spiritual world merged together, that association turned into their property.
Lost whispers
When getting close to one of those landmarks, one will start to hear and "see" whispers. The seeing part manifests as seeing words scribbled in the air. At first, they are often overwhelming but if one tries to focus on them, they slow down, with each one of them being clear to hear and scribbles become easier to read. Close to the ground, most of them are the last words spoken just before death, words from the past, and conversations about nothing, but once in a while, one can hear something useful when listening to them. The higher one climbs on the tower, the more the whispers are targeted towards them. One can start to hear the things that were said towards them or regarding them. The whispers of the dead also become rarer with the altitude.Messages to somewhere else
It is generally believed that the things said at the top of a radio tower will travel to other radio towers and can be heard once one also gets high enough on them. This has been used to send messages and distress signals, in the hope that someone else is listening.

Communication towers, towers of lost whispers
Dang, this is such a cool idea! Randomly appearing towers, whispers of the dead, and murmurs for help in the hopes that they will be communicated somewhere else? Awesome and ominous!
Thanks! I'm very happy to hear you liked it!
